first time iv fitted coilovers so go easy lol..my question is ,on the rear ones does the hight adjuster that comes with the kit sit on the bottom of the spring or does it go on top of the spring? ..just want to make sure of things before i start doing the job tomorrow..thx

I dont know myself sorry ( I thought bottom ) but I've never used coilovers just see others pictures so I'm going from what I remember which... could be wrong.

Let us know how those raceland ones go, Might order some myself if their dapper

will let you know how it goes just about to start it wish me luck lol....think they do go on the bottom looking at it now..would be much better with instructions cant have every thing tho !...:)

coils are all done no real problems apart from getting the drivers side front strut mount, it's the main bolt that sits under the bonnet, in the end i had to get a friend out and use the air gun on it...but the rest off the fitting went well everything fit just right, no drop links needed for this kit.... all tho i need to ajust all the coils the ride is not that bad lol.just abit harder then the standard ride. its transformed the look of the car and it looks so much better .... will get some photos up later see what you think......for the money imo there not bad

yea thats what the Astra forum use to say. the ride is quite nice sitffer but not to stiff. and for the price of the kit you cant compain.

cant wait to see pictures. as im sure most on here will be wanting a set :)

just noticed one or 2 moans little creaking from front.end not much is this normal after fitting ?..dont think anythings wrong as i just gave it a good ragging around my private road and sticks much better..

normal for some creaking, will get less as they bed in, greasing the part where the spring contacts the top mount bearing and the adjuster plate helps

forgot to mention if your doing it yourself, take care when removing the rear top mount bolts theres 2. one of mine fell down the back of the arch liner took me ages to get it out lol..just a little tip!!.

a mate of mine really rates them he has some on his old school bora and believe me its slammed about an inch from the floor. i am getting some in a few weeks not going to low just want to ill thye arches on the stock wheels
