Racelogic Traction Control System

Hi,

Has anyone installed a Racelogic Traction Control system on the Seat Leon Cupra or Cupra R and do you have any information on how to install this. I know the Toyota Supra's easily adapt to this and its easy to install on them also alot of the modified Jap cars have had Racelogic TC system installed. I would like to try try this on my LC.

whooooaaa..... Im looking at this for a car Im building in the US. But thats with like 900hp from a supercharged V8...... I really dont think the LCR needs this system....

I think HTC has in his big turbo A3, he has a thread in the Big Turbo area...

I drop an Ibiza with about 200bhp with this setup... it really was a lot better than std TCS (which isn't saying a lot)

Bill had it on his old Golf IIRC

yep I did.. personally I did'nt like it tho, but the programming I think was no where near right.
I was faster (on sprints) without it or its launch control.

that does sound like a programming issue (or wiring??!)

Dave's setup was fitted by Racelogic, and was good for TC. **** for Launch though.. but it hadn't been set up

There are some chaps in the US who have had Racelogic TC fitted to there VW Golf and have rated it higly..
I believe there is a miss fire detection setting that needs to be turned off on our LC's inorder for this to work. Bill did you have to re-program your ECU..?

no this was on the me3.x ecu.. old skool crude ecu.

its failure to impress was its setup for sure (lack of) - the car came with it on there. I just ran with it switched off.

I have seen it work very well on launch on a VR6 supercharged mk3 golf which did sub 5sec launched every time with it on and 6 sec or worse with it off. Setup by racelogic.
