Radio code lockout!!

Hi,

Just had LC serviced and MOT'd and when I collected car the radio was in 'safe' mode where battery had to be disconnected for some exhaust work.

Radio is now completely locked up and just shows' 2 SAFE' on the screen.
It wont let me tap in anything and just seems stuck on this message. Reading the manual it says that this is in waiting interval mode and should be left off until the waiting interval is over. So far its been 4 days without changing

Any ideas?? I have disconnected battery again thinking it might reset but no luck.

turn the key to one before start.

The don't do anything for a few hours eventually (SP) it will say 2000

then use the keys 1-4 to put the code in then press prog.

i left mine for an hour with the keys in and it changed almost on the hour...
