a wider, thinner pinstripe version either on the bootlid and/or the front bulkhead if it stays white
mind you that's the normal and nothing is normal on it yet
liking the stencil's me and the kid's been adding recently so might just leave it and get people to tag it themsleves ?

3m x 4m as designated by the £50 gazebo it replaced RobertDyas kindly sell with really naff cheap metal poles
built it myself out of local woodyard fencing posts mind you it's at least now all ready for some roof felt and a couple of pannelled sides and i have a new shed/garage sorted
for mot purposes of course they won't be

always had visions of the authentic pukka flatheaded steel bodied perfect machine but i can do that when i retire or win lottery
and yes i know it's a 32 not a 27 and a render by someone who doesn't know engine's but i liked the colour scheme as it's pretty much what i had in my head at the start. Toyota gunmetal grey (dad's verso) and dark wine burgndy swirled leather (mum's sofa)

mmmm some days i so wish i'd saved up more and bought an american bolt together crate kit i agree but then there's no fun in a full size airfix model is there
What I want to know is how you find out that all that kit from different motors can be compatible!! There would be no fun in buying it crated, much more artistic licence when Fl@pperising it!
experience i guess and good old trial and error, Autograss building/racing helped but after 22yrs being in parts with the majority being at an old skool vehicle dismantlers and a childhood before that in a garage anyway
when i started driving it was all mini's and escort's or the odd 2.3 ghia cortina or SD1 rover, and my old man always helping me out engine wise with x-flow/pinto/fiat twin cam/essex V6/rover v8 all in a multitude of vehicles over the years from mini/escorts to opel manta's
i guess you pick up a thing or two over the years

...that's also what I was thinking as I read that list of parts! Quite amazing, quite a talent!
Life would be SWEET if you were able to do what they do on American HotRod / American Chopper, and just get that nice big crate arrive, with a gleaming gearbox and engine assembly virtually all fitted together - just having to drop it into your vehicle to make it complete.
Perhaps we might see you on the Discovery Channel one day Flapper? Or Thunder Races
(because of your knowledge of cars and putting them together to make some quite diverse vehicles)

after a winter hibernation with the now long sunny days i decided it was time to blow some dust about as the mrs has the washing out on the line and i do so like annoying her so i decided i better add a sort of update to what little i've managed to get done recently 
ye ye i know but decorating and job hunting have been a more recent priority
i know i've been slacking but i've never rushed this thing as i prefer to do it when i 'want to' as it's all about me enjoying it to be honest as after 23 years in the motor trade i'll admit i've grown sick of cars recently and it's nice to grab a welder/grinder etc and just make something appear and if it all goes wrong cut it off and start again. I know it will never be period correct as i haven't got the money and anal obcession to get every niggly bit the right year and model etc at the end of the day it's my 2 finger's up to the rest of the world's right and wrong motoring gods i guess
even the dog is lowered in 'ar house and the engine has now been installed to a table for safe keeping
stripped and flipped now so i can clean up and add a few extras here and there to the underneath
manifold is up on stg2 sort of and throttle body is nigh on 80mm as i cant measure straight holding tape and a camera
just don't mention moving the engine as in the process my darling wife managed to crush/split + break her little finger so i'm off to hospital for a long sit down now

Can't remember what it was off exactly, might have been 30's Rover or Alvis or even Pre-War Bus like the headlamps i have i guess
