Rattling windows...

Does anyone have a similar issue that I'm having with rattling windows?

Well.. only one Window, whether its down an inch or nearly down altogether when I'm driving and hit bumps it rattles really bad - as if something is loose or broken?

Any ideas? Any fixes? Another cheap design flaw?

Design. Mine does the same, driver's one anyway. Once it's open it's not contacting with the top seal.

Also found that the whole opening/closing system needs to be much smoother. It's far too jerky. Sound like the window is cracking when you briefly touch it!

Makes you wonder cos it'll be hot enough in Spain to drive around with the windows open most of the time if the air con is off!

mine dont rattle as such, but i have been gettin a mystery knockin noise from my passenger door area. hmmmm perhaps it cld be a similar problem

my drivers window rattles if I shut the door with the window not fully up

no rattles driving like it though

The windows have to be one of the worst designs ever on most vag cars! If they aren't rattling like mad when they are open then they are dropping down and refusing to come back up again!

my drivers side window has started rattling the past few days. only when i have it open mind, if its closed its fine. i never used to have it before. its quite an annoyance any tips?

Mine didn't until it went to volkservice in bpool and after they "replaced" the window motor it rattles but not really badly. Can put up with it.

Mine rattles when closed unless you open it however slightly.

Its nice to know that they all have their own little quirks and there doesn't actually seem to be a set cause or a solution lol
