Oh, got ya. I'm sure you would feel a difference, mine only took me up another 20bhp but with a load more torque it does pull harder, but also the power comes in earlier. I was supprised with how different the car felt.

No not yet my chum, that's more of a wish list that I am ticking as things go along. S1 map, DV & TIP are next up and the company it'll be going to will be F1 in Brightong for some Custom Coding :).

Would still like to see how mow much yours shifts, certainly sounds very quick!

 ahhh S1=stage 1... (it`s my age:blink:)

I must make a few meets this year and put some names to faces, she is very quick but still very drivable traction wise. A credit to the map more than the driver:cartman:

Hi,

My recommendation is Celtic Tuning.
They too have a sale on at the moment and will do a Leon TDi (not sure about petrol ones but should be the same really) for £295.
The bonus is they come to you.
I had my old one done whilst I was at work. Took him about 1/2 an hour and then we went for a drive together. It was awesome. I have had 2 Leon TDi's with remaps now and the Celtic one was definitely the best. The power delivery was so smooth right up to the redline and I've no idea how they got the turbo to spool up so quick but the lag was massively reduced.

can't reccomend P-Torque highly enough!
reccomended them to 2 of my mates who are over the moon with the results!
ones got a Leon TDi Cupra, the other a Fabia VRS
what even better is the price, £265 with before and after dyno runs

It's the lower engine mount. It will help to reduce wheel hop and wheel spin, it also make the engine and gearbox feel more solid, it does cause a bit of extra vibration at first but it will settle down, and the price for this little marvel ........ about £17 + fitting

Where can you get the Dog Mount from?

You can order it from AmD, Forge motorsport or I think Badger 5, In fact most good VAG tuners should sell them.

big difference is when you go to overtake... no more dropping to 3rd/4th - simply leave in 6th or go to 5th and fly past anything - massive pull at any revs in any gear

had my 20vT done at Jabba for £300 - it now kicks out 222bhp

lol i leave mine in 6th as it is standard, but mine is a R. Really interested in a jabba one now, but there is a revo so close to me.

Hi all,
Long time lurker but this is my first 'proper' post (ignoring registering for the Revo discount).
I used to have a 2001 Leon Cupra (petrol) but just traded in for a Leon FR diesel.
I kept the old Cupra stock but have decided to go for a stage 1 remap on the oil burner to get some of the lost power back.
I 've spent a good few hours on here searching and reading comments and opinions on remap threads.
Seems a lot of members are happy with their remaps regardless of the installer

I would like to ask what people think the differences are between an AMD and Revo remap, or are these very similar?
I get the impression that the Revo is considered a little more aggressive?
I ask because I'm in Gatwick and AMD are not far from me, although the alternative might be F1 in Brighton who I think do custom code?

Of course like all FR owners I'm concerned about the potential clutch issues and have noted that there are a few different schools of thought:
Some are having no probs with no need for a clutch upgrade, others suggest strongly upgrading to a performance clutch, and a few have mentinoed just upgrading the friction plate with one from Allards.
I'm honestly not sure what to do but thought I would get the remap and play it by ear.

Any constructive opinons appreciated, cheers Phil.

My power now comes in a lot earlier and lasts longer, i really can't believe the difference its made. Sometimes i've thought its felt like the clutch was slipping a bit but it did this when the car was stock too, at 177bhp. I'm just going to see what happens, if it gets worse or goes completely i'll whack a Sachs one on. Just not looking forward to spending that kind of money.

Well, seeing as nobody else has answered you, DPM performance in the Newcastle area are probably your best bet:]

thank you ross thought no one was gonna get round to answering that question, will get on to them asap,

thanks again.
