Hi guys,

Looking for some help. I have a 99 reg 1.4s ibiza (its the one with the centre rear badge that lifts up and yes I know its not a cupra but the basics are the same for what I need ) and the rear bushes have gone. I've bought a set of poly bushes from powerflex but I just wanted to check that these are right before I start taking my car apart.

Heres some pics...

Theres a stainless steel rod in the middle that the suspension bolt fit into however they look incomplete to me. I always thought they came in 2 parts with a lip at each side (however I'm basing this on Vauxhall corsa/nova which I'm more used to working on).

Thats all that was in the pack - apart from a sachet of grease.

the code on the box is PFR85-206 VW Golf Mk2/3 which I'm told is the same chassis as the Ibiza.

Anyone help? Do these look right?

Cheers

they look about right, the are that tight a fit they hold them selves in, and wot a bitch they are to do. i had serious issues when doing my mk2 Golf ones (173000 miles worth ) i ended up air chisling them and took fooking ages, then as tight as a nuns **** to get back in! .. i seem to remember i had to disconnect the rear flex hoses to drop the rear axle down.. the unions had seized.. ended up doing brake pipes and hoses lol!

Totaly diffrent from the 95 ibiza! Tryed getting them for my 95 they wouldnt fit the big triangle lump on the end shouldnt be there for them to fit, not sure about the 99 1.4 though?
