Hi All

My LCR has pulled a brake line advisories on its last MOT, I thought it would be pretty easy to source even a standard OEM to be honest but I'm struggling.

I need the rear nearside brake line, its not the short one from the caliper, but the straightish one that runs the side skirt, part NO is 1JO 614 741 AC I believe.

Any help is appreciated.

I have the brake lines for the rear beam but I dont keep any of the hardlines from under the car.
I purchased new ones from the TPS several years ago and they were surprisingly cheap.
Probably discontinued now though.
Time to whip out the brake flaring tool and make your own lines.

Is your description "brake pipes corroded, or covered with grease,or other material"?

If so, no need to do anything. Any decent garage will just clean them up and regrease them automatically for you. I've had that as an annual advisory for about 5 years.
