good evening guys and gals!!

after a little advise :help:, i have recently noticed that my MK4 ibiza cupra is pretty rear end happy when cornering. has anyone else noticed this? or s it my dodgy driving?!

Anyone know if there is anything that can be done to help with this? i have heard that you can buy spacers for it, but also heard they are not a very good idea. What are peoples views on them?

hope someone can help.

Cheers Glen

Hi alot of people are running on 20mm spacers and ive never heard anyone complaining about them ( ive also just purchased some 20mm spacers which i will hopefuly get on tomoro!)

Id say the best thing you could do is the Whiteline ARB now alot of people HIGHLY recommend this there is a group buy going on in the awesome forums i think like £20 off the retail price defo something to think about mate

Rear anti roll bar should calm it down....i have the same problem, mine is running coilovers and strutbrace! Your set-up std?

a rear ARB will stiffen the rear & induce oversteer

Most likely ham fisted driving, crap tyres, incorrect tyre pressures, worn shocks (in that order ;))

That said - rear spacers will transform it.

thought the cupra only got rear end happy when you backed off the throttle mid corner encouraging lift off oversteer although i never got that with mine untill i fitted a rear arb but i made it happen and ive only done it the once. didnt try it without the rear arb.
