As per my previous thread ragarding the k1... well ignore that for now and focus on this,

may not be to everyones taste... but indivudualising the car and making it stand out is what appeals to me, so i give you some images to comment on..

Original - boring? or oem greatness?

sarcastic comments welcome, wont be offended. Just getting some ideas out there. Please discuss

The car is not a Cupra R so number one is out. Repositioning number plates is a chav trait so thats out. Same applies to no 3 IMO.

I thought about ditching the C U P R A on mine and adding L E O N with the FR badge. Nothing like a bit of stealth :cartman:

I think the first picture but with tinted lights, de-wiperd leave seat badge silver and leave plate where it is but ditch the C U P R A but leave the R

thought that might be the case... original plate position looks a bit boring though.. a bit higher than normal wont hurt any one i think :)

But by having it low down, it does give the impression that the car sits lower

lol,lol, lol

I did say no offence, like you originally said "not everyones....."

Up to up matey, i like the CUPRA badge - i never see the point it little tweaks like these, if i was going to style a cupra it would be a decent JE Design or something proper. Little boy racer enhancements are not my thing.

Could go down well @ MacDonolds though lol

Hmm. Must admit I've never been a fan of de-badging myself.

Whenever I see a debadged car I can't help but think "Fibreglass body kit" usually seen on the back of any 17yr old's Vauxhall Nova.

And on newer cars (Mk V Golf as example) it makes me think "cheapo repair job".

Tha badging kind of balances out the overall look to the back of a car. But maybe that's just me ;)

I agree, I debadged my FR TDI and it actually put me off the rear.. Put the badges back on a few months later and i fell back in love..

wink wink ;) lol

well im just trying to improve the OEM look rather than sticking on cheap after market crap !! atleast im trying

yes VERY trying!!!

Trouble is most things to do with lights and badges and number plates do look chavvy and cheap mostly....

I agree with the post about about debadging, i think it looks awful... but if everybody thought the same it would be a boring world, and a world without any BarryBoys would be a sad one indeed....

Personally when i see a car like this i find it hard to stop laughing....

you cant honestly compare what im thinking of doing, to that ! come on now, everyone is just trying to be against subtle mods its getting boring now

go for a little individuality and sod what anyone else thinks!!!!

it's your car and your personal taste!!!!

not many people were in favour of what i did, but i like my car looking a little different to the rest of the herd :)

black and silver contrast very well :)
