Im trying to source some rear headrests after a dog related incident with mine. They are £100 a piece from the dealers which, seems a bit steep for something I dont really use. I have managed after 3 weeks of emailing and calling everyone from Eastbourne to Guantanamo Bay to find some. I managed to find somewhere breaking an interior for £100 I asked them if they would break the headrests by themselves for £45. They agreed and said it would incur £8 p&p Im still waiting for them to email me back to describe the pattern and shade. However, by luck I recieved an email from another breakers who have a pair in completely the wrong colour and pattern for £26 plus p&p. I dont get paid until the end of january and dont know what to doooooo  anyone any suggestions ? should I wait for the 1st people to get back to me or get the wrong ones ?

You're trying to source some rear headrests after a dogging related incident?

Oh dear !!! Only you could get the wrong end of the stick huh ? :p

On a more serious note I started by ringing all breakers and car part suppliers in Eastbourne, Bexhill, Hastings and Brighton. Then I sent automated forms out for places like breakeryard.com and Stevens VW dismantlers. Im now emailing anywhere possible that comes up with Lupo's and Arosa interior parts. Its driving me nuts. Anyone got any suggestions where I could try ?

I know it sounds obvious, but have you tried Findapart.co.uk.

Got an email back from 1st enquiry. They are also the wrong colour and pattern described as 'mid to dark grey with lots of white dots on the middle section and plain on the sides' these are the £53 ones and the cheaper ones are 'grey/blue with sun patterns like a child drawings on them' ?! Am inclined to get the more expensive ones as the edges are plain grey.

I'd be quite suprised if Ibiza / golf / leon headrests wouldn't fit it too. It would widen your scope. Do you know anyone whose headrest you could try?

Perhaps someone who has both in the family (Bill?) would try theirs.....

sorry hun, I normally 'keep' anything like that, but they kept falling off the bloody shelf every morning as i got my tools out of the cupboard... so booted them into touch as I dont need them as I have a full compliment in the Cupra

What pattern do you need?

I still have my old interior, which has rear headrests ;) I *think* they're just grey ones....but I had covers on them so would need to check

Its a light grey background with lovely mock leather on the sides. The pattern is small rectangles in yellow and red with little tiny blue lines on it. Hard to take a decent pic that shows it up. If you could have a look for me anyway and let me know Im a bit fickle and I want to try as many attempts at getting it spot on before I commit. Thanks hun greatly appeciated :D
