Rear Lens Cracking

Hi Everyone I have recently took delivery of a Cupra Leon VZ2 and after 1 week the lens is starting to crack.
Is this a common issue and will they replace under warranty? Hopefully they will as I do t want to go down the route of rejecting the car.

Welcome to SCN, I have had my VZ2 for nearly 4 years and mine is fine, but maybe the later cars are subject to this fault as a few on here have had that exact same problem.

Hi Seastormer Many thanks for the reply and welcome I did aGoogle search and it appears a few dealerships are refusing to do it under warranty. I won’t know until Monday so if they refuse to do it then sadly the car will be rejected. This has happened and I have only done 200 miles from brand new

I've seen these polycarbonate plastic lenses crack, split and burst on a few VWG models now.

It's never been an issue with warranty unless there's an obvious external cause.
