[Cheesy Advert Voice] Do you like your reverse light.........?

Wish it could just blend in with the rest of ur car........?

Well now it can!!!! With part numbers i cant remember! (but now i do! look down)

Also for the people that might ask.. the reverse light is NOT part of the MOT test

do you mean a clear/white lens where the red rear fog is??

if so you can :) but the rear fog is part of a MOT test but they are not too hard to change.

in that case im in luck, cos im an ex pat living out in mexico where such shite things like the MOT dont exist :):) so am i right in thinking that i could have all 3 lights at the back the clear lense colour?

If someone hits you, whether you were moving or stationary surely it's their fault?

Was just about to say that.... beat me to it!!

Mexicupra... no... not all 3 on each side it would only be the very inner lens so at max you can only have 2 clear/white lens

So it would be (R)(R)(C)(C)(R)(R)
Where as mine is (R)(R)(R)(R)(R)(R)

If that makes any sense

andy cupra, why would the rear be the new front? he is replacing red for white

when you are reversing, the rear of the car is your front. (effectivly while reversing)
ie you are going rearwards...

thats why you have reverse lights.

if you remove the reverse lights your car is not displaying the correct colour lights.
whether you need this for your MOT im not sure but if not you can still get done.

i was trying to explain that just because someone hits the rear of your car doesnt mean its their fault.
if you dont have a working reverse light your just asking for trouble.

Couldn't you replace the red fog light lens with a colourless one, and fit a coloured red bulb in there instead? It wouldn't look perfectly symmetrical because you'd still see the red bulb, but it wouldn't be bad...

is RED CLEAR CLEAR CLEAR CLEAR RED possible? surely if the red lense fits in place of the clear lense then it can be done vice versa, or am i talking poo poo

Nope sorry, u cant just buy the little red/clear discs, you have to buy the whole rear lamp :(

PART NUMBERS!!

Silver N/S 6L6945107B (Red Reverse)
Silver O/S 6L6945108B (Clear Fog)
Red N/S 6L6945107 (Red Reverse)
Red O/S 6L6945108 (Clear Fog)

we are looking into this....
we want to put another clear one in......
(opposite to what has been done here (r)(r)(c)(c)(r)(r)

have been able to source a chrome bulb that shines at the right wattage and Red so we still have the fog and a reversing light, just got to get round to doing it.....
the unit form the continent is just over £40 :D
