rear overide switch faulty ?

Hi all .

I've just noticed that when i push the ( rear window overide switch ) the rear windows can still be opened by using the rear switches

If i hold my finger down on the overide button continiously , the rear windows CANNOT be opened : is this normal

Surely the overide button should only need pushing once / to lock and again to / unlock ,

mmmmm sounds like a relay is not latching/unlatching

maybe dirty contacts in the relay

poss dodgy overide switch but I doubt it unless it is the switch that does the latching

don't spose many have got rear leccy windows so you may not get many replys

Sounds like a shagged switch to me, the latching bit on it has snapped!
