Does anyone know if I can do anything to get rid of my rear reflector, out of personal preference, I'm not too keen on it, but I don't mind it!

And, tinting the rear lights, can anyone tell me the law on this? I've seen a couple of people do it, but I would have guessed that this was illegal?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can reply and help. cheers.

As far as I'm aware, you must have a reflector on either side and the lights must show in the right colour / brightness. Shouldn't be hard to find the regs with google.

As far as im aware it illeagl to tint your lights cuz of the relectors. On the gti's they come tinted as standered but not the whole unit is tinted. just the indicator part and the reverse light

You must have two red reflectors facing squarely to the rear.

You can tint the light units as long as they are not restricting the light output dramactically.

That's what i'd consider an acceptable level of tint.
