My mate picking up a really tidy '99 V5 reminded me of something I wanted to check. His came with the rear window blind, whereas I just have the cups for one to fit into. The Seat website no longer lists it on its accessories section, but I'd still love to get hold of one. Anyone got any ideas where I could get one from, new or second hand?

I asked the question on here recently and was told it is still available from the dealers but costs £185!!!
I regularly chack ebay and have never seen a genuine Seat one come up so good luck with the search, and if you find 2 let me know!!

depending on the colour parcel tray you have it's £20 odd cheaper to get the whole panel with teh blind attatched to it rather than the blind seperate

Only grey or beige and still not a bargain mind but cheaper none the less

as GrayT says, look round the breakers for a V5 would be best bet

*edit*
in fact the infamous auction site has 2 listed right now with one of them a VAG Specialist breaker that may well have more than one :)

I found one on Ebay, he wants £50 +VAT for the whole shelf with the blind (delivered). As that seems a bit steep I might start checking the local breakers. Although I'm not sure if we've got any breakers left, it seems to be a dying trade.

Tartan58, if you're interested in that one, have a look for 'Toledo AGZ fuses breaking', it's a guy in Nottingham breaking the whole car. Oddly enough it's a blue car he's breaking so it's more likely going to match your interior than mine!
