Rear wiper and washers not working

First of all hi to everyone,just picked up my leon fr today
Ive tried the search button and couldnt find the answer i was looking for,so i hope someone can help or atleast have an idea where to start? Just noticed the rear wiper doesnt work and neither the rear or front washers,i havent checked if there is any washer fluid so that could be one problem solved but the rear wiper definately doesnt work! Thanks!

How old is the car?

It is possible the last owner had de-wipered it and disabled it through VCDS along with the washer jets. Then when he come to sell it, just fitted the wiper back.

Either that or the motor is broke, but I am unsure about the washers if they have not been deactivated.

Do you hear the washers go?

Common fault on the rear washers is having the pipe disconnect in the boot.

Thanks for the replys.its a 08 car i dnt think the rear wiper has been removed as it was a reps cars so unlikly to be modded.il look into these issues

Fuse maybe ???
Not sure if front and back are on the same fuse

I have same problem on my 2008 FR how did you resolve this issue? Rear wiper won't work and washer bottle doesn't make noise when try to spray .

As daft as it sounds - this happened to me

Came out - rear wiper would'nt work -----

Turned out if rear hatch is not closed properly the wiper doesnt work.... Try making sure latch is clear and give it a slam - fingers crossed...... (not fingers in the way)......

Sorry not been on for ages just been so busy since i posted this,i forgot all about it.i took it bak to the garage i got it from and they called out a electriction and turned out 2 be a relay in dash and a brittle section of wire behind the dash.hope that helps

Cheers for getting in touch, I bit the bullet and took car to local auto-electrician. He has said it is a relay and the bottom half of fuse box is getting no power supply. So fingers crossed will be fixed today. Did you ever get this problem again or did the fix resolve the issue? If going to be a problem thinking of changing car. Not sure what to go for was thinking Audi thanks for letting me know.

So far so good not had another problem other than the dpf which is now sorted along with some extra hotse power : )

Just got car back was the auxilary ignition relay, luckily no wires needed replacing one happy man again!!

Its in/under the dash behind the fuse box some where,the garage i got the car from used an auto electrition to sort the problem so cant be anymore specific than that im affraid.

Auto electricain said it was behind the dash board somewhere, sorry can't be more specific. He said only yook 30 min to install. He was very reasonable for price so would advise to go to an auto-electrician.

Saved the garage trip and money.

This worked for me.
The door light wasn't showing but the boot needed a slam and the wiper n washers started working.

IF SERVES ME RIGHT ACCESS UNDER STEERING WHEEL ,SAME PLACE AS PLUG IN PORT,PANEL PULLS OFF.
THE SPLIT IS JUST UNDER LIGHT SWITCH...HOPE HELPS...

Yeah the panel is just on the lower right of the dashboard, it just pulls off and the ports behind there.
