next up is all the ancillaries.

getting there though!

ebay Joe,

the block will def be ok heat wise a thin coat of white paint will not make a huge difference on the head unless someone has proof to say otherwise.

Argh I looked on there at the time, bummer :(. Just a thought I haven't seen proof for or against it yet, obviously it looks better painted, hopefully that high temp stuff can take it ;). Have you got any particular power you're looking for or just a "clean" build?

clean build and we'll see what bill can do with it, not looking for an end figure really just want it to be EPIC fun!

install isn't too far away now, was delayed recently due to getting an electric Mitsubishi MiEV from work to use so have been messing about in it (looks horrible but is impressive for an electric car...). have filter housings, engine mount brackets and altenator etc back on now. neet to get some gasket cement tomorrow before the final closure of the engine. have decided on the theme for the engine bay now too so from here on in it will get "interesting"

pics tom

so the engine went in last friday and have 400 miles on it since. one small weeping oil cooler fitting which i need to take the bumper back off for. but other than that we are all good. due its first service already...

Engine was out in a moring and back in in a day but was a day rerouting the exhaust and stuff also. had a lift though so made things a huge ammount easier

Said I would upload a few pics to keep this going...
