Seat 07 plate FR 130

howdy... first can i say how much i am loving my new motor, ppl are forever looking at it when they see it!!!

Right, i think it would look hot with red callipers? wat do u all think? think it would go sweet with red seat outline en the Red part of th FR logo!

I am a lady there need some advice.. can i get my ones sprayed or is it best to but red ones, if so cost?

could my local garage do the job for me?

I personally think red has been overdone. Blue may go quite well with the colour of your car.

Most people apply the paint by using a paint brush. Calliper paint is quite thick and no brush marks are left behind.

A local garage/bodyshop should be able to do it for you, however it'd be much cheaper if you had a go yourself or got a mate to do it :)

id say do it your self its easy just take the wheel off get some hammerite and paint them and give them a few coats get a decent brush and a fine one for the edges if you want it perfect

Red calipers that are not the proper cupra ones look silly IMO. Best off going black or silver just to make them look clean and smart rather than (hey look how small my red calipers are)

I've seen red calipres on cars that have discs the size of CD's and drums on the back and it looks so chav.

I did mine on the weekend, and it's easy if you know how to whip the wheel off!

Give it a scrub with some wire wool, and use some hammerite, or high temp paint. i used engine laquer and it cost a couple of quid. its dead easy if you take your time, and put a few even coats on and looks fresh when done.

I think red is done loads, but its timeless and gives it a fresh look!

I've got a silver Ibiza and have painted my calipers red and I think it looks ok!!

I can stick a couple of piccies up if you want

done the same.....think it looks good...my readers ride has pics if ur interested

however may change to black in time...

cheers everyone for the feedback, pics welcome as would b good to se wat they look like before i go wild with the paint bush!??!!!
