Yeah BP Ultimate or Shells 99 octane is the best.

The only reason I said about the recirc valve is that when I went to have the revo trial the dealer told me that its not worth it because the standard valve cant deal with the amount of boost your car will be running once the remap has been put on. It say's in your avator that you have a forge 007 recirc valve. If you have got it give it a service and make sure you have the correct spring fitted. You may need to find out what sort of boost your running and then speak with forge about the spring strengh. I can put you in touch with a dealer down here.

thanks for the info but for now and few months i'm pretty skint, so apart from a service no money will be spent on the car until about June(ish)

what im trying to say is that just because a certain company is charging less does never mean its a lesser product

trouble is, it often does tho. ;)

the saying "you get what you pay for" often bares out.
as does "buy cheap buy twice"

plenty of research on forums soon shows whats popular, and thats generally for very good reasons.

Bill is right, I have that cheap Red Dot Racing map but only because it came on the car when i bought it. After driving the Custom Code mapped car it definatly worth the extra for the smoth drive and for the peice of mind that it ain going to go wrong. Got to say tho it is quicker and as smoth (not very smooth) as my mates Revo LCR.

I have had a red-dot map and i also had the Revo free trial a few months ago. I now wish i had spent a bit more and gone for a more well known map. Red-dot was cheap and it is ok but compared to just the Revo trial, The Revo was a much better map. The red-dot was a generic map but thats all i know about it?

A quality map is the way forward, but I am not revo fan (IMHO). Jabba, MRC and Custom Code are very very good maps. I am defiantly going to change mine!!

Think the extra cost is alot to do with testing and developing the map for the car/engine,one map that suits various engines will be cheaper than one which is specific to that one type of engine due to the extra development work in making the map, everyones got to earn a living and the final cost of various maps probably reflects the amount of work/cost that was originally put in to develop it.
