Wondering if anyone could offer any suggestions how to stop this recurrent fault code from appearing on scans.
The fault codes seem to be related, and always seem to appear together, never separately.
So, the car has a retrofitted highline reverse camera fitted, all works well except that there is a permanent error, unrelated to this enquiry, about the system being uncalibrated
131689 Rear view Camera System Control Module No communication - Timeout Knoten 0x69/6C Steuergerat fur Ruckfahrkamerasystem - Basic calibration not carried out
I understand this as yes, the camera system has NOT be officially calibrated
Car is a 2019 facelift Leon SE Dynamic, and has a factory fit MIB2 navigation unit. Navigation database is version 2310, downloaded from VW portal onto a genuine SEAT SD card and never shows any problems in use.
Issues are these - if the ignition is switched off, and then switched on again in a short time, there is an error message appearing on the screen that the Park Pilot is currently unavailable (though everything works as it should) . This seems to throw up a related error on VCDS in 5F Information electrics that the navigation database is not enabled:
2571 Navigation System B126C F2 00001000 Navigation database not enabled
Is this in any way related to the uncalibrated reverse camera, and how might this relate to the park pilot unavailable message
As said, everything is working exactly as it should be.
Any ideas how to get rid of these errors? Thank you
