remapping my cupra tdi

hi guys, i've just booked my tdi in at jabba for a remap next week. im keeping my standard clutch as times are a bit hard at the mo.

they've told me they can map it safely to save the clutch so it wont be too stressed and it will push out about the same as a stage 1.

just wondered what people thought of there stage 1 upgrades, is it quite a noticeable difference??

I had mine revo'd a couple of weeks ago, i was expecting a clutch smoking animal, but to be honest i was very smooth moving the power higher up the rev range. clutch has been fine. but the turbo went bang lol

How did the remap go ? i'm thinking of going down that road but want to keep standard clutch to

Good luck with a standard clutch, too much torque for it unless you drive sensibly!

I had my cupra tdi remapped at jabba last friday - the map is excellent very smooth, powerful and revs for longer.

They worked the map so it would not be too agressive on the clutch.

In summary would certainly recommend them.
