Need some help or advise.
Im ibiza is doing my head in at the moment, there is something wrong withthe remote central locking and I don't know if its the key fob or if its to do with the wiring on the car.
This misteriously happened after it had been to the stealers to get some body repairs. basically I have to press the Unlock/ Lock button about 20 times before the car does anything.
I have changed the battery twice to over come the problem and to be honest the second time I changed it for a brand spanking duracell battery the problem seemed to disapear for about a week or so before rearing its ugly head again. and I noticed that if i opened the key up then put it back together it would work for the first couple of go's.
However the problem is back and worse than ever, Its really doing my head in because i have to manually unlock the car meaning embarrasingly the alarm sounds for a second or two when I start the car. Not good in a morning when im up early for work!
My car is a Mk4 Ibiza Cupra petrol 55 plate but 2006 model. Any help would be appreciated as it could be something simple that I that I could put right meaning I won't have to pay out for a repair at this expensive time of season.
Cheers guys
