Remote locking issues....

Hi guys,

having not owned me Leon very long, I just havent had many cold mornings with it as of yet, but... when ever it is cold, it has a few problems...

The Remote locking doesn't work... is this normal, because its fine when I get to work, it locks no problem, its just when its cold as well IE, Ice on the windscreen etc....

Any advice would be nice

Mine was very tempremental a while back. It wouldn't unlock first thing in the morning, but then after driving it to work it would lock with the remote.
I dont think it was due to the weather though, i changed the battery and now it works fine.

I must say that the range is pretty pathetic though! lol

Well its under dealership Warrantee, so I think i'll be asking for a new battary and Glow plugs....

anyone know the best place to get a new battery for the Remote key?

How much are they roughly?

Local battery/watch shop ebay sell them.
I had a new one in my standard key fob, but the range is better with my new flip key. Shouldn't make any difference imho , but it does.
