Hi guys. Just bought sum new R badges for my lcr coz we all no they go shitty. Jus want to no whats the best way to remove the existing ones without marking the car? Cheers

I used some liquid called sticky stuff remover and an old bank card. Just take it slow and you can't go wrong. They come off pretty easy to be honest

Can i just pull the badge off? Then remove the sticky stuff after? Or be careful from the start?

warm them up gently with a hair dryer so you dont risk pulling any lacquer off.

When i changed mine i used dental floss to cut the badge from the sticky backing and did it that way.

just be gentle with it and it will go fine!

Get as much of the sticky residue off by hand then use somthing like bug and tar remover and let it soak in, works a treat, just be carefull not to scratch the paint.

I took mine off the other week.

I used some hot water in a jug to soften the glue first. Then I used dental floss in a sawing motion to get the badge off. All that was left then was the sticky black stuff which I got off with some autoglym tar remover and a microfibre cloth.
