removing door bump strips

anyone know how these come off? id like to get mines painted and just wondering how to remove them,do they just pop off?

they are stuck on matey so ul have to peel themoff and buy new 1's really. theyre about £30 for both sides

do you need to get these from seat dealers?

yep from the dealer i think the rear 1's are £6 and the front 1's are £8 each un-painted if you do a search the part numbers have been posted before!

less than that rash. rears about £2-3, fronts about £7 IIRC

was gonna get a workmate whos reasonably handy with an aerosol to have a go and see how they turn out the cars brisa blue think the colour would be hard to match? how much you reckon a bodyshop would charge?

get them painted off the car obviously hold up to paintwork in sunlight check they match then remove old strips and replace with new!

mind use a primer that will make the paint stick to the plastic

Im getting mines sprayed along with doorhandle's and the bad ass scratch along my rear quarter to bumper!
