Removing "foreign" paint scuffs from bumper ?

Hi guys,

On my partners car, she has a paint scuff where another car has caught the corner of her bumper while pulling out of a car park space (and just driven off) !!! :(

What application or solution do you think will be most effective at removing the paint scuff from her car (its actually a different colour paint)!?
The bumper itself doesn't appear damaged / any deep scrapes, or dented.

Thought it best to seek guidance here, rather than make the issue even worse by using some DIY methods (ie: white spirit?).

Note she also drives a SEAT Leon (Mk2) . :)

Cheers in advance.

Hi Boo, thankyou for taking the time to reply. :)

I tried a small amount of T-Cut, as you suggested, and it removed the paint well. *thumbs up*
It was surface paint from the other car left on the bumper. All gone now.

As a bonus, after removing the paint, her Bumper isnt scratched or taken any damage, which is also very fortunate!

Again, thankyou for your advice. ;)

I had the same on my old Vectra, some POS opened their back door on to mine and left a lovely long scratch on what was a mint car at the time. Using a bit of tar remover to remove the paint, and polish to restore the surface, got it back to normal. It had just deposited itself on the clear coat and hadn't damaged the door as bad as it looked. I thought I was looking at a respray when I first saw it!
