is there any bad points to removing the plastic engine cover and driving without it? Or is there any good points like letting the heat out and keepin engine cooler?
best to leave it off imo, can see any split or broken pipework then... i left mine on for ages and a split crankcase breather hose went unnoticed.. not been back on since.
in summer getting rid of the cover and bonnet lining crap too imo helps to keep temps down, maybe not loads but it all helps, visa versa in winter, helps the engine get warmer quicker
the bonnet lining is a piece of piss to take off the clips just squease together and pull out i took my engine cover and bonnet liner off the engine cover weight quite a bit aswell
