Removing standard CD player

Done a search and didn't find 1 thread.

How does the standard cd player come out?

Getting a new one tomorrow!

Gotta get some removal keys, they go in in 2 slots at the bottom of the player (Under 1 and SCAN button if the Alana unit) Push in, squeeze together (or apart, cant remember) and pull. Sorted!

With mine I took the tray out underneath and pulled like buggary!

i cut a unused card into the shapes of the holes and pulled it out lol.

aye get the keys from Halfords or something, only cost me like £5... saves buggering about.

And I think you push in and then pull them apart to hold the player while you pull it out.

Its a pretty easy job when you have the keys!!

I got the keys with my new cd player anyway so i just pulled it out with no trouble at all - unlike the stories above lol
