Removing Stivcky Stuff!

I have some strange white sticky stuff (no laughing please) on the rubber seals of my front windows! Normally i would just use car polish and rub hard if it were on metal but it seems impossible to budge as its on rubber!

Any ideas on what to use?

Autoglym tar & glue remover.

or if you have a girly then nail varnish remover is 'quite' safe.


failing that then thinners, but be warned, DON'T get it on paintwork!

try baby wipes first, they wont harm anything, and are intended to clean and collect sticky stuff ;-)

Yeah hand/baby wipes work quite well i keep some in the car for removing carpet bomb bird poo, work a treat. its always sods law that a bird comes out of nowhere when you have just cleaned the car
