Hi all, i washed the car yesterday and noticed some black spots on lower panels of drivers and passenger doors, which im assuming are tar spots?

What do you use to remove them, as dont want marks to damage paintwork.

a clay bar should be enough to remove them.

you can get different grades of aggressiveness for the application required as well

Goto youtube and search for clay bar.

A clay bar should remove tar and other contaminents at the same time, so should have quite good results.

AS Tardis or AG Tar Remover.

Just srpay on, leave for a few moments and wipe away with a MF cloth.

Just remember all of these products will strip away any protection you have sitting on your car tho so might be worth while sealing or waxing your car again afterwards.

You might aswell make a day of it now. :D
