i am thinking about removing my winter tints tomorrow.can anyone tell me the easiest way and how can i do it without damaging the heater strips on the rear window?cheers

if its been done with pro film it will just tear off without wrecking the heater strips....but if you are unsure then warm the window gently with a hairdryer as you go.

I had mine removed by a tint installer, cost me £50 because it too all day to get it all off. He says he used a stanley blade mostly. Does the job and dosnt damage the glass.

removed my old tints on the front, they pulled off but they leave a clear layer of glue on the window that needs to come off.

heat it up a bit with a hair dryer, and then some extra strength gum remover, worked fine on my car, but it did take ages, so be patient.

i agree with the hair dryer, i had to take mine off cos i got pulled and fined for having tints on the front two windows. i used a heat gun but got impatient and it started to rain so i ripped em off, but left the sticky stuff behind which took ages to rub of. took me like a hr for each window to scrub that stuff of so use a heat gun at least.
