i have a 2001 leon cupra 1.8t with an AUQ engine. just had this delivered but looking at my original i cant see how it fits. the standard pipe seems shorter and doesnt have a second bend. only thing i can think of is that i am looking at the wrong place where i take my original off. following the pipe from the air box it goes from being rubber to metal do i take it off at this join or does it go further down and that is where i have to remove it. here is the link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....em=&sspagename=STRK:MEWNX:IT&salenotsupported

This is what you want to take off, I'm pretty sure its an allen head bolt.

I undone mine from the top.

Mine was an absolute pain in the arse to fit as the metal water pipe is in the way, had to put grease on the TIP and water pipe to get it in.

jack car up, axle stands, take dv out and all other things attatched to the oem tip.

get under the car, undo the bolts in the oem metal part of the tip to the turbo housing... dont drop owt in there.

get someone to feed the new tip down, you feed ont turbo inlet, put a jubilee on first, then put onto turbo inlet.

tighten the jubilee up nice and tight, its not too spacy down there so be patient.

when thats attatches, relace all the pipes, dv etc you removed into the new tip and tighten with new jubilee clips.

the oem clips are a bastid to remove, but a screwdriver does the job.

tightn all clips nice and tight, but dont overdo it so you dont split it.

wallop... job done

tbh i wouldnt grease te tip on the turbo inlet side, itll go on with patience.

good luck, i have a link somewhere on a guide for this... stand by ill find it.
