resetting traction ABS light

info needed please guys

traction light came on the other day and has not gone off but the manual says nothing about being able to reset it. and says may come on if there has been an issue with ABS. anyone else had this issue and how do i get it sorted?

try disconnecting battery for 30 mins then reconnect if not get someone with vag com to help out or address abs issue

hoff . came on after a bit of a blast and stayed on. will try the battery thing. where do i find a vag com person as the guys local their machines do everything except the traction abs light.

this happened with my ibiza the other day - it happened because my brake light bulbs had blown - might be worth checking urs as aparently they're all connected and if they blow it counts as a problem with the braking system. worth a look anyhoo.

or check the abs unit on the brakes

well your i hampshire so put out a thread in the vag com section of here and see if anyone can help

Doesn't it clear after a certain number of engine starts - mine always has that light on after a RR day and usually clears after a few miles

unless there's a fault.

yes, check for faults. Mine did the same and the maf was dead.

found out what it was.
fault with sensor on steering rack which is something to do with abs and traction control
