Retrofit DSG Paddles

Hi guys

I bought a second hand 2014 Leon FR DSG last year. It didn't come with paddles on the steering wheel.

I really want them added, and was wondering:

* Have any of you replaced your steering wheel to the one with paddles?

* How much did it cost?

* Did everything work, or did the car need to be recoded for the paddles and the multi function steering controls to work?

Are you sure its a genuine DSG and not just an automatic ?, all DSG's came with flappy paddles from what I can find.

Just to add to this I think the Cupra's all come with Paddles but I have seen some new cars were recently delivered without them (Factory **** Up) they had to have new steering wheels installed. That was I suspect because its easier for the dealer to fit steering wheel that do a retrofit.

Normal answer is you can do these things but they wont be cheap but I cant say I have seen anybody actually do it.
