Had the stage 1 remap done today on my standard K1 (with the exception of a pipercross panel filter fitted this morning, which imho made no difference at all!).
Also had a RR done before and after;
Results a little disappointing (from a numbers point of view) as had hoped to reach the magic 300bhp mark but that will have to come with other mods now I guess
The inlet temperatures were high and a little humid during the RR, plus the fact that I had to put normal unleaded in the other day to my disgust
So likely the V power I topped up with this morning probably hasn't had chance to work its way fully through the system yet.
Anyone have any other ideas why it may be down on the manufacturers claimed 240 bhp at standard or is this a normal variance given above?
All in all however very pleased with the way it drives, no flat spots and you can definately feel the increased power and gives a better sound too.
225 BHP before (15BHP down on manufacturer claims)
272.3 BHP after (12.7BHP down on Revo estimates of 60BHP increase)
Big thanks to Monster Motorsport - http://www.monstermotorsport.com/. Special thanks to Mike and Neil, I will be back soon!!
Great people and setup at Monster, if you in Leicestershire / Nottinghamshire area recommend you pay them a visit.
Next step I think has to be the intake
I'll see if I can get this done before Monster do the 20K service and get them to give it another spin on the rollers
