Let me know how you get on.

I just can't justify nearly £500 on something that probably wont make that much difference. I'll wait to see how everyone else gets on and to see if there is a sale in the future..

For £500 you could get an exhaust and induction kit and actually have 2 physical things for your money rather than a software tweak.

I’m certainly not dissing the map or revo, I think the map looks great I just can’t justify it for the price.

It may not work on the new ECU's (pretty sure it doesn’t work on the newer 2.0lt TSi) you may have to purchase the full software but you get a 30 day money back guarantee..

It was my understanding that torque was more important than Bhp so a 5Nm gain would hardly be noticeable ryt?? I cant even entertain spending near on £500 for these gains unless we see solid proof of what its capable of on a 1/4 mile. Wont Revo be at show somewhere any time soon to put their test car through its paces. Why does something so great also have to have such a down side dam DSG!!!

If you look on the website the stated torque gain is larger but if you look at my rolling road results and indeed revo's own cars rolling road results they are putting out higher than book figure amounts of torque and BHP. To be fair I do like the maps figures and I’m glad they are not in the 300Nm territory as this would certainly trouble me and the DSG further down the line I would think.. its all down to the price and seeing how the new map actually feels on the car.

Bit of a pain really isn't it.. :(

I'm conidering a manual polo GTi or Audi S1 in the future..

Not really and I dont think they have a 4-pot brake upgrade option and IMO they dont look as good as the boc.. but i'm still a little tempted. They are little more understated. The s1 on the otherhand looks to be a bit of a beast!

I know, you could put money on it that all the cars are pushing a little more than Seat claim. Revo's advertised gains will just be for marketing. I know what u mean with the higher Nm maps. If its so that the DSG limits the torque, without the limiter on, if its allowed to be less restrictive maybe the engine left to its own devices wouldn't even need the ECU messing with to get that kind of gain. Just a thought :D

Eee just read an update on it and i'll stick with the boc..

The old spec was Quatro AWD, 220BHP and the new stronger 7-speed.

Its now same engine and DSG for a rather stupid 19k... No thanks..

Back on topic though.. Anyone fancy getting a revo and doing a proper review please :D
