Haha! No worries mate, glad you got one and it's all looking sweet :D

Mine lines up fine on the screw holes, tried it now. But the oil cap is sitting towards the top of the opening so it doesn't line up exactly how I want it. I think I'll get a pic over to Forge on Monday and see if they can send another one out. Bugger! The Porsche cap is a lot smaller than the Forge oil caps, which I believe fill this centre oil cap in the cover almost entirely. I am thinking maybe I should get one of those aswell, lol.

Hi Rich and Tom. Talking about it lining up at the oil cap, it does take some adjustment at the screw points; I have to slightly adjust the brackets which are held on with Allen bolts to the inlet manifold. With regards to the cap and looking aesthetically right, as even mine was a few mill lower than centre, try using the original oil rubber surround but turned up side down. Here's a picture to give you idea, but I think helps sit the cap nicely.

Finally got to properly use my polishing machine and it came up a treat I think.

Products used:

Bilt Hamber clay bar
3M Fast cut plus
3M Extra fine compound
Meguires Gold class wax

All done with Megs gold class wax to finish off the job. Not the best of photos but red is a very hard colour to pick up reflections on camera unlike darker colours :(

If I tried to do that with mine on a day like that I would be cooked !!! Awesome finish there Richard. I need to find myself a wharehouse so I can get in the shade and have a go at mine. Hate all the swerls and minor scratches on mine !

Thanks Reece, mate I was moving the car all the time trying to get away from the sun lol. Spot on though you need to do it inside where you can get light onto it and check if all the swirls have gone etc....

Superb effort mate, looks immaculate. :)

Thank you sir, paint is pretty good tbh, nice to have a ding/dent free car for a change!

Sooooo when do you want to do mine?

Take a trip down mate and ill give it a go, im only a novice at the moment though
