Hi all, I am thinking of getting the rieger rear diffuser for my VZ3 Ateca.

Has anyone done this mod and how easy is it to fit?

Do I need to remove the whole bumper?

Thanks

Looking at this review on Progressive Parts it sounds like a straight forward job.

Hi All
I have attempted to install the rieger diffuser today however I have had to give up as I cannot get the old one off the bumper.

I do not want to damage anything by forcing it, I removed the 2 torx screws on the bottom and the push pins each side, the top clips do not want to budge.

Any ideas please?

Update: I managed to get the old diffuser off by using a bit of force.

The bumper was fine but I did crack the old diffuser.

Will get picks up.

Hey @Fox1980 any pics? Just bought this myself and intend to fit next weekend , any tips?
Hi Mcewan
Unfortunately no pics of the install as it kept raining and I had to get it done pretty quick. The hardest part is getting the old diffuser off, on the OE diffuser there are clips all along the bumper, just start at one end and you need a fair bit of force. The Reiger diffuser just has locating fingers where the clips were, just push these in and while holding it insert the 2 screws underneath where the existing holes are, use the packers provided between the diffuser and car body, then take the 2 screws out of the car where the tip of the diffuser is use the longer supplied screws and spacers to fix each side. Then all that remains is to use a 3mm drill bit and drill through the holes in the diffuser to the sides by the exhaust tips, insert the 2 screws each side and you are done.
