Hey guys, was planning on putting a nice set of rims on my Seat Leon 2.0T. The Fr comes with a set of 18" mags but i feel they do nothing for the huge arches and actually take away from the car...

So could anybody help with helping me decide whether i should go for a set of 19" rims with a subtle drop so that they fill the arches nicely, or whether i should go for a set of 20" rims and leave the standard suspension? And what offset wheels i should go for so that the wheels don't look like they sticking within the arches like little twigs :ban: I'm really confused so anybody's input will be much appreciated, and photos of your rides with the above mentioned sized wheels would really help :D Thanks guys

I wouldnt go for 20inch, you could be in for a world of pain in regards to rubbing. Personally I think 18's are perfect as they are lighter and the tyres are cheaper, plus the 19's will probably make the ride harder.

offset should be betwen 45 and 50 ideally, but this can depend per wheel. I would go for 8inch width the maxinum, and no lower than 7.5.

Well there was a recent thread on lowering, and a number of owners have put Eibach Sportlines (Springs) on, with their existing 18" Alloys, and this setup does fill the arches very nicely.

Might be worth taking a look back at that Thread, and the Pics, and see what you think?

Thanks for your input guys, its much appreciated. And you actually right Dan, after seeing those 18'' wheels on your ride they look perfect... all the car really needs is a decent drop. What drop have you given your beast btw? I think i'm definately gonna go for a set of 19's tho, even thou the ride will be a bit harder and it will cut down on power a bit, but what drop would you recommend on a set of 19" wheels? i have a set in mind that i really like, will post some pics up and tell me what you think:D
