Cool. Just looking out for you guys.

S3/LCR pump should be okay for gt2x power levels. Mine however wasn't.

My thinking too, I'm not comfortable relying on a 7-year old OE pump, running larger than standard injectors at 4-BAR, APR fit uprated pumps on their 290bhp stage 3 kits, I'm up around the same so for my own peace of mind the Walbro is in, plus it will serve a purpose when going bigger turbo, bigger injectors, etc. in the future.

I'd much rather be well within the limits of the Walbro than right on the limit of the OE pump.

hmmmm ok

will look to be fitting mine then when i get it back off Will

although, will this affect the way the car fuels at all? or just better built for higher end applications

reggy determins rail pressure, mapping determins injector duty cycle, so unless it was mapped with an underperforming base fuel pressure (and you would be none the wiser if it was !!) it should have no effect on running

is that something you could check when I come up do you think...check fueling and timing etc?

Why? Convert to the other side and you'll get a better FMIC/pipe runs in there...

I dont think the re routing would be that difficult in essence of the LC cars....just a few more pipes and bends adding

Latest progress, managed to get the SEM manifold fitted today, alot still to do as far as re-routing all the intercooler pipes, hoses etc. but the manifold is on and the fuel rail is on.

All went on with no hassle, lots of little things to move but so far it's been quite easy. Have to buy some new silicone elbows and alloy bends but I already have most parts to complete the new hotside pipework.

While the coolant is drained off (I have to remove the swirl pot to make way for the TB and pipework - doh!) I'm going to fit the oil cooler at the same time as I'm doing the IC pipework.

Looks very purposeful there, means buisness;)

Will be interesting to see how much more you can get out of the turbo with all this fitted and a custom remap
Has your faith in Star been revitalised?

does not look that difficult to re route the pipe work either for the FMIC, just a U bend and go back on itself I imagine?

I've come back to updating this thread as it's gone off the topic of my blown turbo in the big turbo section.

Hopefully fitting my new carbon door mirrors today, so will update new pics of carbon bonnet, pins and carbon mirrors.
