Simples YES, Fabia VRS and Ibiza Fr Tdi use the same engine ie. Air Filter housings are exactly the same bud

Is there much difference in going for the cone over the panel filter buddy? I'm just deciding what to get for mine, been quoted over £70 for the PD 160 intake bits!

Standard difference is probably minimal. However once mapped you notice a difference. Myself having owned both a performance panel and cone in a box. You get gains with both however slight better airflow with cone in a box and alot more chatter through the filter.

My opinion if your wishing to get slight gains and remain oem looking pd160 intake and cone in a box is the way to go.

However if you a looking for pure performance gains and no so much care about looking oem. would recommend you buy a BMC CDA induction kit bud

if you do it you'll need to factor in an uprated clutch / flywheel setup too............

but in my opinion.............. DO IT!!!!!!!!

i'd love to do it to my bora at some stage, maybe in a few years time............ a 220bhp / 340lbsft bora diesel would be nuts!!!!!!!!!!

go to ur local seat dealer just ask for the cupra tdi intake then cut the flap out also to give even higher air flow

Too purchase intake new from thats where a go for all my parts needs.
(He was 18quid cheaper than my closest Seat dealer for the PD160 intake alone)
