i was quoted around 170quid for a new flip key!
so i bought a new flip key off ebay for 40quid (this was the 2 button fob with remote pcb, new transponder and a blank blade), got the blade cut at timpsons, programmed the remote part using a "how to" video off youtube, and then paid 40quid + VAT at the stealers for the transponder to be matched with the immobiliser
all in my flip key cost 105quid, only thing with getting it through the stealers is that its hassle free and done in a few hours, it took me a couple of days to get done

Seems a got mare ove a deal than a realized lol. mines only cost £38.50inc Vat for the Dealer too code all 3keys
If you've got full vag-com and know your four digit SKC, you can program it yourself following the step by step guides.

Been missing my Hid's at nights,
so bought some new bulbs as recommended by others
Osram Nightbreakers and Led side lights>
After fitting>
Verdict:
Osram Nightbreakers noticeable difference, light up the road ahead however still no where as good as Hid's

Just get hids
Any recommendations? Some to match 6000k hids?
Can't find the name of the seller on my ebay history, sorry
They cost about £6.50 and they are a bit more blue than the hids, but it's very hard to get ones that will match exactly tbhSimilar threads
