I agree whats the point in cheating so to speak. The reason you booked the RR session was to try and see what power your car is pushing so surly you would want a true reading?

My last RR day i pulled 197bhp that was with k03s revo stg2 according to logs the car was fine boost was spot on and maf figures good 172g/s. But i added some octane booster the night before and partly blame that or the fact of the dyno lottery.

Oooh thats low for a k03s I'm not all that convinced with REVO stage 2 tbh, only been in one k03s car mapped that way and it didnt impress me tbh, mine felt quicker. Ollys k03s made 251bhp on Custom Code (all be it at Stealth) and Steves made 252bhp on Jabba custom map (cant recall where). Ollys car pulls very well and is quite impressive tbh. I think if/when i go k03s i'll be going to Jabba.

I was hoping for around 230bhp tbh. I agree beaker i dont really think that revostg2 is up to the job. Ive got a RR day on the 26th on some destak rollers and if i pull piss poor results again ill seriously be considering jabba. Ive had a good play around added a 5.75deg of timing with lemmiwinks and cranked the WG quite abit.

My k03 pulled 224bhp although i think that was a tad optimistic.

octane booster has actually been proved to lose you power....

and yet I can make mroe timing (hence power) with it...
it aint tue.. unless you make "NO CHANGES" to the ecu settings, and given our me7 ecu's are clever little things and adaptive, they can in fact make the most of better fuel, and pull back when its not so good.

the octane booster programme (5th gear?) was rubbish, and not the defacto on octane boosters. there's more to it than a bench test K-series engine.


"Dyno Lottery" is the caviat.. dont get so hung up on figures......... its all relative

Hey ppl, i got 162.3bhp 238.9nm yesturday at street racers! that good? i got milltech/decat, pipercross induction kit, forge rv....waiting on piping for ths fm then its back up there for a map!!!

Thats about right without a remap, I made 160bhp at Awesome last year with just a forge tip, dv and a dynatwist.

Got 205.9 on my K03 today.. Carbonio induction and Full Blueflame system, custom remap to the car when it was standard by West Tuning!

Was worried as the car was running flat, been no V Power in my area for about a week and a half now, had to run BP Ultimate..

Was 189.7bhp on exact same rollers last year with just a remap!

It was done at JKM and im pretty sure its measured at the fly there. There was a couple of stg2 LCR`s running that day and they both only made 240bhp... makes you wonder

Im running on a set of destek rollers this month which should be interesting because when phil ran on these his was heading for 230+bhp before his boost cut off and ours are running pretty much identical. (according to logs)

need to learn something..... why do tyre pressures increase power on a rr?

i would deffo have run a few tanks of vpower before mapping. according to mike a jabbasport, it makes a difference.

more friction on coast down (flat tyre) more "apparent" losses to be added the atw figure..
atw figure is the more realistic number to look at.
