135 quid for the lot?? Bloody hell that's cheap.. i'll put my s/h lamps on ebay and buy the kit.

Don't happen to know the part number for it do u???

And I found fitting a K&N, removing the stupid trumpet thing in the airbox and fitting 60mm silicone/alloy tube cold air inlet pipework makes a noticeable difference..

Part number for the front fog light kit is 1M0052160A

I also fitted a K&N a while ago but didn't fit a silicone pipe. I extended the air feed to the front grill by using the air feed pipe from an 2004 Leon 1.4 as they had different air intake pipework due to the inclusion of air con.
Has a nice whistling sound now when I put my foot down

Ah you've put on what I took off.... lol...

I'll take a pic of what I've done. I'm picking the cold air up from between the O/S headlamp and the washer bottle.

The silver dash part was bought from the German Ebay site, Silver door lock pins are genuine SEAT, Chrome heater switches are from a stand at VWNW show at Tatton Park
Can't remember where I got the gear surround from though.

Nice car mate, got exactly the same one, feel inspired now!
couple of questions, when you put the 'Leon' in the centre of the boot did you get the letters from Seat or from another shop (ive bought mine from another shop)
and do you know anywhere where you could get vent surrounds in any other colour than chrome? (my car is red so thinking of matching it with the outside)

I got the LEON lettering from my local SEAT dealer. Was only £2.50. Just ask for the lettering from the new shape Leon
Have since removed it as I preferred the badgeless look. Just dont have the time to remove the rear S boot release.

The chrome surrounds are £20 from SEAT and made from ABS plastic. You could paint them if you get some plastic primer and the right colour paint for your car.
Again. I took them off as they were starting to fall off and decided to debadge the front end.

I meant the interior surrounds, for the air con vent etc, sorry, wasnt specific enough, but would the same apply? Or are those just plastic stickers essentially?

Oooh the air vents. They're also ABS plastic. Got them off Ebay ages ago and glued some wire mesh onto the back. I suppose they can also be painted.
Ended up taking them off as well lol

Finally got around to doing something I'd been planning for ages. Actually bought the kit over a year ago but sold it as I'd changed my mind. Managed to drop on another set that was already painted the same colour as my Leon so I decided to fit it and put a stainless steel cover over to match the rest of the door handles.

I'm on about a delock kit btw

also when you debadged your boot were they just stuck on or were ther holes behind?

Daz, on newer VAG Cars they are just stuck on - the last one with holes behind was the MKII Golf etc.

Fitted the foglamp kit to mine yesterday. U even get a set of chrome grille surrounds & adhesive in the kit... they'll be going onto ebay...

But no bulbs in the kit... lol but that wasn't a prob as I had a pair of Hi Intensity Blue bulbs for them anyway.

I'd re-badged mine with Mk2 LEON letters but now debadged it.

As been said. There's no holes in the boot when you debadge.
