Hey guys,

Does anyone know where i can get a reliable valuation of my leon?

Im thinking about changing cars if i get this new job (skyline or scooby i think) and i just wondered what the "going rate" is for a Leon Cupra at the moment.

Ebay is throwing up random numbers too me... lthough i have noticed they are cheaper than what i bought mine for :(

Have a quick look at Parkers website and the online What Car free valuation. Both will probably make quite depressing reading, so then do a search on AutoTrader and see what other similar cars are advertised for.

I found AT adverts were a up to a grand more than what Parkers was saying.

cheers for that... il have a gander... i paid £3k for mine, i know il never get back what i paid and have spent on it... but id like a reasonable amount back...

im still undecided... i keep thinking about it and then look out the window and think "i love that car"

i dont have any parts so i would probably just sell it as is or part ex it.

thing is, im not so sure it would be worth getting rid of it... ive just spent the last hour looking at 200sx's aswel and they are lovely... but with more power comes other problems etc.

damn it!

What I usually do is scan through autotrader and look at all the cars for sale with say 60 miles (same make, model, engine size etc) and look at what year and mileage they are, then place mine where I think is appropriate, I'd only do that for a quick sale though

Im in the same boat mate, looking to back to Jap and get a supra TT, confident I should eb able to get just over £5k for the LCR.

Market for selling anything thats not derv at the moment isnt great :(

Great time to buy a 3l twin turbo petrol supra tho lol!!

haha well im more and more unsure now... i think now is the time to buy a more powerful car due to the market.. but its just taking a loss on the Leon :/

yep, determined to sell mine privately tho, trade in value on them is shockingly low.

going to stick mine up for £5250 and see how it goes.

This is the only non Jap car I have owned and the only car that i will lose money on when I sell it.

i blame my friends for this... i was going to replace the clutch on the leon and then tidy it up...

but now the 200sx is calling me!!

pondering the same, i've spent ££££'s and pretty much sold all my standard parts.....

that said these car's make more when breaking them

want to go back to Jap myself, Evo 7,8.........

i do like the car, keep thinking should i keep it longer

lol the LCR is a nice car, but its just not exciting and raw enough for me.

after having a number of MR2 turbos some stock some played with the LCR jsut feels like a average handling car with a bit of power.

Personally i blame my friend for letting me drive his supra a while ago, with a few basic additions they are a doddle to get over 400hp.

gorgeous cars.

My buddy just picked up a mint Cupra, 52 plate, Silver 90k, standard car 3 owners new belts, tyres etc, £2300.. was advertised for £2800 though.

LCRs can be had for low 3's, This LC was pristine, one pin dent on the whole car IIRC

their not worth much at all at the mo... mines got a scuff on the bumper and the previous owner curbed all the wheels.

I think im just going to keep mine as im looking to spend around £400 just on tidying it up..only to sell it on.

*sigh*
