runs rough/misfire between 3k-4k revs

recnetly had 1 of the coil packs go, replaced it and runs fine except between 3k and 4k revs where it runs rough like when the coil went, it cuts the boost too but when i dip clutch or change gear the boost returns until i hit 3k again.

is this a sign of another coil going?

also changed maf today no change!

Would get it on vag-com to checked fault codes and find try to find definate cause. May save you money replacing parts that aren't needed.

What are the plugs like, when were they last replaced, worth taking them out and checking them.

another coil on it's way out. when ichange them for customers we give them the option of 1 but recommend all 4

if one coil pack is playing up then they all will change all four at once
plugs can cause this problem
