Thought I'd update you with my progress.
Before.

I was'nt happy with the big gap in the corner where the cover does'nt fit properly so I decided to extend it a bit.
After.

As you can see in the 1st picture the washer bottle and the hole dont line up, to correct this you need to fit the bigger 5.5L washer bottle, on an LCR this is a right pain in the ass, you need to remove the upper boost hose, HID ballast (if fitted) headlight cover, power steering res, carbon canister & header tank, I did manage to get it in but then found the washer pump is in a different place so you need to extend the wireing and water pipe's, I was'nt prepaired to do this so I decided to smooth over the washer bottle hole.

I have used some thick card to extend the cover out to meet the wing, it was then coated in resin and left to harden and then another coat of resin and a layer of Carbon Fibre.

I then had to trim a bit off the underside so it would clear the Carbon canistor.

I used P38 filler to fill the low spot's left from covering over the washer bottle hole

The next job was to wrap the cover in 2x2 Twil Carbon Fibre cloth (to match all the other cover in my engine bay) and coat in 3 layer's on clear coat resin

After a bit more sanding to get out any high spot's and airbubbles

Next stage will be to polish out the imperfection's which there are quite a few and then it'll be ready to fit :D

Just been out and trial fitted the cover and it still fit's :D

It needs another rub down, theres a few small airbubble holes that need rubing out and as always I got a few run's in the lacquire :(

BRAVO :clap::clap::clap:

i just think its over the top, i like the fact you can see al the bits and bobs in the engine bay, just takes the edge off of it and makes it look like every other mass produced thing out there. IMHO. but as said, your work is sweeet

I think it looks great, nice to see everything at times but its only a washer bottle, its custom and carbon so not quite as run of the mill as any other car with plain plastic covering everything and its your own two hands that made it! :D

Fair enough, its good that we don't all like the same thing otherwise it would be boring as lol
