Sach Sintered Paddle Clutch Review

I remember a member of staff from Sachs saying that the SMF probably causes more problems than it solves! The vibration the DMF usually absorbs has got to go somewhere else, and by the results of various SMF owners clutches, the clutch is taking it and dying after 10-15,000 miles

How are the paddle clutches holding up. I'm probably getting one ordered soon just wondering if there still ok?

I have the same, wouldnt describe it as juddery, as that makes it have the impression that its bad lol. As you say completely bareable.

I've just had the dogbone mount replaced today and tbh, if your going to get the paddle clutch get the mount aswel. makes the car feel like its brand new.
I only say this as I feel that the clutch puts a little more strain on the gearbox mounts.

If i could go back I would have the same clutch fitted again and again!

After having mine a couple of months I'd highly recommend it. Pleasure to drive.

I had a new very light master cyclinder put in at the same time, so the clutch feels like it's from a 1.0 micra lol

Do you know if the sintered paddle clutch sprung or rigid? I'm just about to take the plunge with this :)

Cheers
