Jonny, thought the S3 was good but this looks like it will be better again. :)
Just spent a while reading that! Wow.
V good times there.

Thanks mate..

The aim is to get into the 11's with the standard turbo and road legal tyres, we will see how I get on the next time! If its too much of a struggle then its time for a bigger turbo haha..

Check out the events and page 6, lots of pics of the day!

There is 4 or 5 pics of your car on the strip, with a similar pic to my sig pic of your car running a low 13..

Cool mate, fun stuff :)

Im not into sprint runs really, just trackdays. Did do it at GTi inters last year though, only because I had unlimited free runs :)

Would be interesting though, cars got a fair bit more power now, plus a diff, but would still be a challenge to get the power down on the straights :)

Out of interest, how much weight saving is there with the likes of pro race 1.2's over OEM wheels?

And for the million dollar question, how much time saving and top speed is created with this weight saving alone (how long is a piece of string I guess)

1 kilo saved on the wheel apparently is the equivalent of about 10 kilo kerb weight. thats according the some tuner mags. not sure how accurate this is.
